Join alumni association Relay for Life team

KOKOMO, Ind.—The IU Kokomo Alumni Association (IUKAA) invites you to join its “Tardy’s Troopers” team during the upcoming Relay for Life walkathon at Kokomo High School. The IUKAA asks participants to walk in one-hour shifts during the relay, which runs from 6 p.m. on Friday, June 18, until 6 p.m., on Saturday, June 19. Donations and additional pledges gathered by walkers benefit the local office of the American Cancer Society. Now in its third year of participating in the Relay for Life, the “Tardy’s Troopers” team is named for Jerry Tardy, the former president and CEO of the Indiana University Alumni Association, who died of cancer in 2002.
