Nursing honor society inducts 13

KOKOMO, Ind.—Eleven students and one graduate of the Indiana University Kokomo School of Nursing were inducted into Alpha Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing on April 21. Inductee and Master of Science in Nursing (M.S.N.) student Julie Howard of Kokomo received a chapter scholarship during the ceremony.
Other new members include students Linda Gundrum of Logansport, in the R.N.-to-B.S.N. transition program; Ellen Jones of Anderson, R.N.-to-B.S.N; Crystal Jones of Marion, in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.) program; Joyce Hollingsworth, Kokomo, M.S.N.; Jennifer McElveen of Wabash, R.N.-to-B.S.N.; Kimberly Minich of Indianapolis, B.S.N.; Michelle Moore of Marion, B.S.N.; Lisa Price of Kokomo, M.S.N.; Lori Rawlings of Sheridan, B.S.N.; Elena Tansy of Tipton, B.S.N. Diane Fultz of Noblesville, who earned her R.N.-to-B.S.N. degree at IU Kokomo in 2005, was also inducted.
Conducting the ceremony were chapter advisor Associate Professor Linda Wallace, Ed.D.; Associate Professor Nancy Schlapman, Ph.D., coordinator of IU Kokomo’s bachelor’s and master’s degree programs in nursing, and adjunct faculty member and nurse leader Teresa Wisher.
