Hall, Merrill earn Outstanding Future Educator titles

KOKOMO, Ind.—Recent Indiana University Kokomo graduates Elizabeth Hall and Lindsay Merrill have been recognized as Outstanding Future Educators by the Indiana Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (IACTE).
A review committee of IU Kokomo Division of Education faculty members nominated Hall for fall 2006 semester honors and Merrill for spring 2007 semester. A resident of Michigantown, Hall graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education in December 2006. Merrill, who lives in Sheridan, completed degree requirements toward her B.S. in Elementary Education in May 2007.
Both women, along with Professor of Education Margo Sorgman, Ed.D., attended an IACTE award ceremony and banquet in Carmel, Ind., on April 13.
