IU Alumni Golf Outing features clinic with Coach Wallman

KOKOMO, Ind.—Clint Wallman, coach of the IU women’s gold team, will show you how to improve your game during an hour-long clinic, preceding the IU Alumni Golf Outing, on Wednesday, June 6, at Chippendale Golf Course, Kokomo. Wallman’s clinic begins at noon, before the 1 p.m. shotgun start. Registration and lunch are available starting at 11 a.m.

Two young women whom Wallman will coach on the 2007–2008 IU women's golf team will play in the June 6 outing. They are Kokomo’s own Amber Lindgren and Lauren Giesecke.

Entry fees are $50 for IU Alumni Association members and $65 for non-members. The fee covers 18 holes of golf, golf cart, team photo, prizes, a box lunch, and two beverage tickets. Players can sign up as a foursome or individually.

Clint Wallman is in his third year as the head coach of the Indiana Hoosiers women's golf team. He came to IU after the 2004 campaign when he helped the University of New Mexico to back-to-back NCAA Women's Golf Tournament appear

The Howard/Tipton Counties Chapter of the IUAA and the IU Kokomo Alumni Association are sponsoring the outing, to benefit Alumni Association student scholarships.
