The IU Kokomo Messenger Receives the Bronze Award from CASE

Indiana University Kokomo’s alumni publication Messenger has received the bronze award in the Magazine Publishing Improvement category from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education, CASE. Director of Alumni Relations Catherine Hightower states, “We are very pleased to have been awarded this honor. It is a credit to our alumni as well, since we have based changes in Messenger on the results of an online survey e-mailed to alumni after each publication in order to meet their needs and desires.”
CASE is the professional organization for professionals at all levels who work in alumni relations, communications, fundraising, marketing, and other areas. CASE membership includes nearly 3,400 colleges, universities, independent elementary and secondary schools, and educational associates in 60 countries around the world. Headquartered in Washington, D.C., with offices in London and Singapore, CASE has member institutions in the United Kingdom, Ireland, and continental Europe.
Director of the Office of Communications and Marketing at IU Kokomo, Wendy Williams states, “The re-design is an effort to continually provide our members with relative and up-to-date information in an easy to read format.” IU Kokomo alumni who would like to be included in our next survey should contact the alumni office with their e-mail address, alumni@iuk.edu.
