  Alpha Chi fall 03 induction

KOKOMO, Ind.—Alpha Chi, IU Kokomo’s National Honor Society chapter, inducted 19 new members in ceremonies November 22. Faculty members nominate students in their discipline for Alpha Chi membership. Nominees must place in the top 10 percent of their class academically.

New members, listed by hometown, include:
Bunker Hill: Karen Alwine, biology and physical science, and April Weaver, nursing
Frankfort: Margaret Strode, accounting
Galveston: Melissa Guzman, elementary education
Gas City: Amanda Spencer, English
Greentown: Crystal Carpenter, social and behavioral science, and Erica Jackson, management and human resources
Kokomo: Lindsey Boles, elementary education; Melissa Hinze, computer information systems; Kristin Hoover, nursing; Michael Mygrant, biology and physical science; Leah Sand, English; Tiffianey Taylor, sociology; and Mary Williams, psychology
Peru: Candy Mooney, elementary education
Sharpsville: Anita Haworth, criminal justice, and Bradley Mitchell, communication arts
