  Nursing students look behind bioterrorism headlines

KOKOMO, Ind.—IU Kokomo nursing students will present research findings on SARS, smallpox and other potential biological threats Monday, November 24, from noon to 2 p.m. in Kresge Auditorium in the Kelley Student Center.

Working with Associate Professor of Nursing Nancy Schlapman, Ph.D., the 24 students have also investigated other diseases capturing recent headlines, such as West Nile virus, anthrax, monkey pox, tuberculosis and malaria. The presentation is free and open to the public. Fact sheets on the various other diseases will be available.
