Staff Council efforts raise $4,300+ for scholarships

KOKOMO, Ind.—IU Kokomo’s Staff Council raised close to $4,300 toward scholarships in two fall fundraising events. The Staff Council’s 12th Annual Arts and Crafts Show on November 8 garnered $2,800. Show co-chair Kim Maxwell said the money would fund an employee/student scholarship to be awarded in fall 2004. Campus employees created and donated seasonal wreaths, which the Staff Council sold in a silent auction in October. The auction’s $1,355 proceeds will fund a new one-time scholarship.
