KOKOMO, Ind.—The American Association of State College and Universities (AASCU) has elected Ruth J. Person, chancellor of Indiana University Kokomo, to its board of directors. Chancellor Person will serve a three-year term on the 12-member board.

AASCU represents more than 400 public colleges, universities, and systems of higher education throughout the United States and its territories. According to the association’s Web site, AASCU schools enroll more than 3 million students, or 55 percent of the enrollment at all public four-year institutions in the United States.
