IU Kokomo Students Present at Undergraduate Research Conference

Seven Indiana University Kokomo students will be presenting their research projects at the annual IU Undergraduate Research Conference on November 29, at the IU Southeast Campus located in New Albany, Indiana. Several of the students did their research with a mentor professor as part of the 2007 Undergraduate Research Summer Institute (URSI), which was funded by the Office of Academic Affairs. Travel support comes from the Center for Research and Creative Activity Director, Kathryn Holcomb, Ph.D., and the Honors Program Director, Robert Strickwerda, Ph.D., at IU Kokomo.

The Indiana University Undergraduate Research Conference (IUURC) is dedicated to the promotion of undergraduate research, scholarship, and creative activity performed in partnership with faculty or other mentors as a vital component of undergraduate education at Indiana University. The conference is open to all disciplines: visual and performing arts, humanities, natural and physical sciences, mathematics, engineering, business, economics, education, and nursing.
