IU Kokomo to host annual Halloween Event

KOKOMO, Ind.—Bring your favorite little ghost or goblin to the 13th annual Halloween Open House at Indiana University Kokomo on Friday, October 31. The award-winning event is held for area children 10 and under from 6–8 p.m. in the Kelley Student Center. Admission to the Open House is $1 per child; children must be accompanied by an adult. Children should bring their own goody bags for treats to be handed out by student and campus organizations. Parents can bring a camera to take photographs of their children with interesting costumed characters. Children can walk through the Spooky Hall for a (kid-friendly) scary experience, designed by IU Kokomo students. The Halloween Open House was named the 1998 and 2002 Outstanding Program of the Year by the National Association for Campus Activities. Last year’s event attracted nearly 800 children and parents.
