Trade issues talk offered at IU Kokomo

KOKOMO, Ind.—On October 5, the IU Kokomo History/Political Science Club will host a presentation on U.S. trade issues. Richard Snay of Indianapolis, president of the citizens group Indiana Fair Trade Commission, will discuss the effects of the North American Free Trade Agreement and other recent trade initiatives on U.S employment, the national and regional economy, and Indiana’s relationships with world markets. Free and open to the public, Snay’s presentation will run from 1– 2 p.m. in Kresge Auditorium in the Kelley Student Center. Weekday guests to campus who do not have an IU Kokomo parking pass are asked to park in the lower level of the parking garage, located on the south end of campus. Parking is free.
