Pati profiled in Who's Who listings

KOKOMO, Ind.---Dean of the Indiana University Kokomo School of Business Niranjan Pati, Ph.D., has been recognized in two national publications. He is profiled in the 2004 editions of Marquis' Who's Who in America and Who's Who Among America's Teachers.
Marquis' Who's Who in America bills itself as featuring "the nation's 100,000 highest achievers." Subjects cited in the publication represent politics, business, medicine, law, education, art, religion and entertainment from across the country. IU Kokomo Chancellor Ruth Person was profiled in the 2001 edition. Who's Who Among American Teachers honors educators nominated by students from Who's Who Among American High School Students, Who's Who Among American High School Students-Sports Edition, and students honored in The National Dean's List. Some 156,500 teachers are listed in the 2004 edition. Pati has served as dean and as a professor of operations management at IU Kokomo since 2001. He helped gained charter recognition for the campus' chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma business honorary society. He is the founding chair New Deans Learning Community affinity group of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International, and a member of the association's Seminar Committee. Pati is cited for making 25 national and international conference presentations and authoring 12 peer-reviewed articles. Before coming to IU Kokomo, Pati was the chairperson of the Management at the University of Wisconsin La Crosse where he earned his professorial ranks and tenure, and a graduate teaching assistant and a senior teaching fellow at Northwestern University, where he obtained his doctorate.
