Master of Liberal Studies application deadline extended

KOKOMO, Ind.—IU Kokomo has extended the deadline to apply for spring 2005 courses in the Master of Arts in Liberal Studies (M.L.S.) program. Applications will be accepted up to November 1. Call (765) 455-9381 or visit www.iuk.edu/mls. M.L.S. students complete 30 hours of course work, including 9 hours of interdisciplinary seminars and elective courses in the humanities; social and behavioral sciences; and natural, information, and mathematical sciences. All new M.L.S. students for spring 2005 are required to take course D501, Seminar in Humanities. The M.L.S. Project Proposal Seminar, D601, will be offered to students already enrolled in the program. Spring electives in the M.L.S. cover philosophy, literature of the Harlem Renaissance, African politics, folklore and U.S. southern authors.
