Crispen, Douglas appointed to IUAA Executive Council

KOKOMO, Ind.—Deanna Crispen, B.A. ’98, of Logansport and Elizabeth Douglas, B.S. ’90, of Kokomo will serve on the Indiana University Alumni Association Executive Council. The Council provides the highest level of alumni input to the IUAA’s Board of Managers (association officers), which oversees the business of the association. Members of the Executive Council make recommendations to the Board of Managers with respect to such matters as review of existing IUAA programs and activities, establishment of new programs, approval of investment policies, and the amendment of the articles of incorporation. Crispen was elected to serve a three-year term as a member at large of the Executive Council. Active in the IU Kokomo Alumni Association (IUKAA) since 1998, Crispen is also a member at large of the IUKAA board and a board member of the IU Alumni Club of Cass County. A past president of the IUKAA board and active member since 1995, Douglas was appointed to represent the IUKAA on the Executive Council for three years. IUKAA Board Student Representative Leah Sand was also appointed to the Executive Council for 2004–2005. A Kokomo resident, Sand expects to earn a Bachelor of Arts in English in 2005.
