Phi Sigma Sigma adds 14 members at IU Kokomo

KOKOMO, Ind.—Iota Epsilon Chapter of Phi Sigma Sigma at Indiana University Kokomo initiated 14 women into its ranks on October 14, bringing chapter membership to 29.

Many members pitched in to help two Kokomo service organizations on Make a Difference Day, Saturday, October 21. Some Phi Sigma Sigma members assisted Bona Vista Rehabilitation Services by cleaning up a garden at the agency’s Laguna Street site. Another crew raked leaves, washed windows, and cleared gutters at Bona Vista’s Westdale Group Home. Sorority members also cleaned the kitchen, pantry, and playroom of the Family Services Association domestic violence shelter.
Chapter members will participate in IU Kokomo’s annual Halloween Open House, an evening of indoor trick-or-treating, games, and other holiday fun on Friday, October 27.
Now through October 31, Phi Sigma Sigma will collect previously used eyeglasses for the Gift of Sight Foundation. The foundation directs used eyewear to people in need around the world. Donations can be brought to the Office of Student Activities, Room 210 in the Kelley Student Center.
