High school seniors who have excelled at their schools may be eligible for a four-year academic scholarship at Indiana University Kokomo. The application deadline is November 1, 2008.
IU Kokomo has a distinctive merit scholarship program for high school seniors who have an academic record that demonstrates potential for college success. The Academic Scholars Award Program provides four-year scholarships to students who meet certain criteria.
In order for prospective students to qualify they must: rank in the top 10 percent of their high school class; have a combined SAT score (critical reading and mathematics only) of 1150 (ACT 25); attained an Academic Honors Diploma; and meet the application deadline. Students also must complete the application for admission, provide an official high school transcript and provide SAT or ACT test scores.
There are 10 Early Scholars Program scholarships available, which are renewable for three additional years when the students maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and annually complete enough credit hours to progress to the next class level.
