IU Kokomo plans trick-or-treating, activities for young children

Kokomo, Ind. – Something’s on the prowl at Indiana University Kokomo, and it might just be ghosts, goblins and ghouls planning to attend the 19th Annual Halloween Open House at Indiana University Kokomo. Children ages 10 and under can participate in a night of trick-or-treating and other spooky activities on Friday, Oct. 30, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Kelley Student Center.

Games and activities are planned for those who attend, and children will visit each activity and booth to receive treats. In addition, a movie will be shown in Kresge Auditorium at 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

There will be a $1 admission charge per child to this event, but parents get in free. Children, bring your parents and enjoy celebrating this holiday in a safe environment, free from cold or rainy weather. Parking also is free.
