New M.L.S. Director Named
Kokomo, Indiana—Michael Finkler, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Biology, has been named the new Director of the Master of Liberal Studies (M.L.S.) program. When asked about his appointment, he replied, “I’m really looking forward to this. I’m a great proponent of liberal arts. Regardless of the discipline you pursue, it will help you succeed. The Liberal Arts course of study prepares you with the tools needed to advance in what you do. You are adaptive if you need to change the way you do things and are more malleable to do that successfully.”
Indiana University Kokomo serves an 11 county area in north central Indiana. The campus offers more than 40 academic programs including four master’s degrees.
