Process for Orientation

Orientation at IU Kokomo is designed to assist you in the transition from high school, college, work, or home to student life on the IU Kokomo campus.

Information on Orientation Day is used to assist students in learning  about the programs and services our campus has to offer.

Before attending orientation you will need to establish your ADS (Computer) and IU e-mail accounts. Click below and follow the instructions to establish these accounts.

If you fail to follow through on this request, you will be prevented from registering for classes.

Immunization Compliance Form

1) Login to our Web site at http://onestart.iu.edu using your IU username and password

2) Select student Role in the top right corner: Then select Self-ServiceTab

3) Under the Personal Info channel select: Immunization Compliance Form

4) Read about the risks of meningtis

5) Check the box indicating that you have read the information

6) Submit the online form.

 

      

Confirmation Form (Complete and Return)

Orientation is part of the admission process and students are required to attend orientation.

Please complete the form regarding your attendance for orientation.  Click on the Confirmation Form (header) above to complete the form.  Once you complete the online form, please make sure you click the submit button.

On Orientation Day:

-Arrive between 8 a.m. and 8:30 a.m.

-Bring a picture ID

-Park in Student Parking area by Kresge Auditorium and the Kelley Student Center

-Plan to be on campus to at least 2:00 p.m.

-Dress comfortable and casual.

If you are interested in gaining leadership skills, making new friends, building resume material and making money, then

consider becoming an Orientation Leader.

Meet your 2009-2010 Student Orientation Leaders!!

These students are chosen because of their interpersonal skills, academic

achievements and leadership abilities. Student Orientation Leaders serve

as positive role models and have the opportunity to welcome new students

and parents to the IU Kokomo community. Student Orientation Leaders assists

the orientation staff, facilitate small group discussions, participate in skits, help

new students to register and always convey the spirit and sense of community

that is a part of the IU Kokomo campus.
