The Student Computing Services (SCS) group is a component of the Information Technology (IT) department at IU Kokomo. Funded by the Student Technology Fee, SCS provides the technology resources for IU Kokomo's students to use in their academic endeavors. The department is committed to running a high-tech campus and providing quality and timely services to facilitate and improve the learning and working environment at IU Kokomo. Functions performed by SCS include support and management of the computer labs and classrooms, public email stations, wireless network access, and student printing. Tutoring services are available for many topics related to technology at IU Kokomo.
The vision of the Information Technology department is to have a smoothly running, high-tech campus. The mission is to provide quality service and leadership in emerging technologies to enhance the teaching and learning, scholarship, and service mission of the campus.

Student Technology Fee
At Indiana University Kokomo , the Student Technology Fee is used to provide the technology resources that support the academic objectives of students. Computer hardware and software, printing supplies, email and other web services, as well as support staff salaries are funded through the collection of the technology fee. The usage of technology fee in 2006 is represented in the pie chart below.
