Library and Information Commons
There are more than 85 computers available for student use located throughout the library in study rooms as well as the Information Literacy Classrooms (ILC). Students can also check out a laptop computer at the library circulation desk that can be used in the wireless areas of campus. Hunt Hall Room 102 Open Lab The Hunt Hall Open Lab is a 12 seat unstaffed lab in room SM102. The lab is open for use when Hunt Hall is open. The lab is closed on Saturday and Sunday. Students who need computer support while they are using the lab can use the online support tools or call the helpdesk at x315. Learning Enhancement Center (LEC) There are six (6) computers in the Learning Enhancement Center. At the LEC, students have access to math and writing tutoring while they use technology to work on class assignments and projects. Division of Education Curriculum Lab (CuLab) The CuLab offers students three (3) computers with printing capability as well as wireless access. At the Culab, students have access to resources specifically geared toward educators. It houses books and materials for research and lesson planning. The collections include magazines, puppets, instructional aids, textbooks, computers, and audio visual items. In addition, the collection of children’s literature, fiction and non-fiction, is quite substantial and diverse.
Departmental Computer Labs
Math Lab The Math Lab is located in KO 048C and is sponsored by the Math Department and offers students in introductory math courses a dedicated space to work on computer accessible math lessons, homework, quizzes and tests. Student Computing Services provides ongoing support for the computers and printing equipment in this area.
