Any IU Kokomo student enrolled in a baccalaureate program, except those enrolled in SPEA, may pursue the follwoing minor. This minor can reinforce and enhance career options for a wide variety of majors, including those interested in attending law school after graduation.
Requirements (15 credit hours):
The following course:
- SPEA J101 The American Criminal Justice System (3 cr.)
One of the following courses:
- SPEA J201 Theoretical Foundations of Criminal Justice Policy (3 cr.)
- SPEA J301 Substantive Criminal Law (3 cr.)
Three of the following courses:
- SPEA J201 Theoretical Foundations of Criminal Justice Policy (3 cr.)
- SPEA J321 American Policing (3 cr.)
- SPEA J301 Substantive Criminal Law (3 cr.)
- SPEA J306 The Criminal Courts (3 cr.)
- SPEA J331 Corrections (3 cr.)
