Welcome to the home of Indiana University Kokomo's Web Services.

The Department of Information Technology, Web Services area, provides support and technical help to Web publishing community at IU Kokomo in order to effectively meet the goals of a student-centered learning community.  Services are offered to faculty, and staff for departmental and personal web pages loaded on IU servers.  Telephone, e-mail, and walk-in support is provided during normal office hours to help faculty and staff with troubleshooting Web-related issues.  Access rights for coding editors and content creators are managed through Web Services.  After checking with your departmental Web manager for support, Web services appointments can be scheduled for assistance with Web-related issues.

All Web publishing issues involve the Office of Communications and Marketing to ensure that IU Kokomo's Web is following communication and vision goals.

Web Services Accomplishments

The following major projects have been completed with the help of many people representing a variety of campus departments from the IU Kokomo community. Our entire campus and the community benefit from the information available to them through these Web services' projects.

IU Kokomo Web site

The IU Kokomo Web site was analyzed and re-designed by the Office of Communications and Marketing and Web Services, in conjunction with the IU Office of Communications and Marketing.

Launched in July 2005, this complete redesign of the campus Web site included first-, second-, and third-tier pages, including every administrative department and academic unit, and a virtual tour. New features include campus photographs, dynamic events calendars that integrate with events.iu.edu, an upgraded e-publishing system to manage news and announcements on the home page and in the Office of Communications and Marketing subsite, and a new Majors & Programs subsite. This project included 1,141 total files, 618 HTML files, 440 graphics and photos and 19 online forms.
