Do you have a bachelor's degree in a medical imaging-related field? Are you ready to earn another modality certification? IU Kokomo offers a Post Baccalaureate Certificate in Advanced Medical Imaging Technology to enhance your career goals.
This post-baccalaureate certificate program includes both didactic classwork and clinical education components that will pree you for another national certification examination.
The Advanced Imaging Certificate emphasizes a deeper study and practice with imaging modalities used in radiologic sciences. IUK offers post-baccalaureate certifications with a focus on computed tomography (CT), echocardiography (echo), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), mammography (mammo), PACS administration,* and ultrasound (US). Please refer to the “Concentrations by Modality” section on the website for more information.
*The PACS administration concentration does not require a clinical component
Admission requirements:
- Applicants must have completed (or will complete) general education requirements.
- Applicants must have completed a baccalaureate degree at an accredited institution.
- Applicants must have maintained a minimum overall GPA of 2.70 in all courses.
- Applicants must have maintained a letter grade of “C” or higher in all general education and program courses.
