    Biography

    Hyunkang (H.K.) Hur, Ph.D. is an associate professor of public management in the Department of Public Administration and Health Management (PAHM), School of Business at Indiana University Kokomo. He joined the PAHM, School of Business at the Indiana University Kokomo in 2016. He earned a Ph.D. in Public Management and Policy Analysis from Indiana University Bloomington and a Master of Public Policy from the University of Maryland, College Park. He completed his B.A. in Public Administration with a Business Administration minor from SungKyunKwan University, Seoul, South Korea. Professor Hur’s research interests are public management, human resource management in the public sector, organizational behavior, public program evaluation, public sector employee work attitudes and behavior, work motivation, comparative public administration, quantitative research methods, and meta-analysis. Professor Hur has published peer-reviewed articles in Public Administration Review (PAR), Public Management Review (PMR), Review of Public Personnel Administration (ROPPA), Public Personnel Management (PPM), Public Money & Management (PMM), Asia Pacific Journal of Public Administration (APJPA), Social Justice Research (SJO), and International Journal of Public Administration (IJPA), and Journal of Management & Organization (JMO).
