My name is April Mouser. I teach pharmacology in the school of nursing. I am also the Simulation Center Director. This role includes preparing the simulation center for each simulation that nursing students encounter, as well as working with faculty in creating a learning environment meant to enhance didactic and clinical education. Simulation is a key component to preparing our nursing students for the clinical setting in both skills and critical thinking.
Additionally, I am a proud B.S.N. graduate of Indiana University Kokomo. I received my M.S.N. from Indiana University Purdue University-Indianapolis in 2009. Currently, I am pursuing my Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of Southern Indiana with an anticipated graduation date of May 2013.
