Biography
Dr. Krabbenhoft has served as Dean of the School of Business at IU Kokomo since June 2014. In addition to his administrative responsibilities he oversees the MBA capstone course where he enjoys supervising graduate students engaged in live consulting projects serving businesses, non-profit organizations and government entities in the region. Over the course of his career Dr. Krabbenhoft has supervised over 200 students participating in roughly 50 projects both here in the U.S. and abroad. Prior to joining IU Kokomo Dr. Krabbenhoft was the founding Dean of the College of Business at Purdue University North Central (PNC) in Westville, Indiana. While at PNC he established the Center for Economic Development and Research (CEDaR) which worked with both governmental organizations and economists at other regional universities to support economic development within NW Indiana.
Dr. Krabbenhoft earned his Ph.D. in Economics at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. His teaching and research interests include economic development, financial management and management consulting. He is the author of several book chapters, a sizable number of peer reviewed journal articles, multiple reference works and has presented his work at conferences both in the U.S. and abroad.
