Meet Jamie Gallegos, the resource navigator at Indiana University Kokomo
Being a college student comes with challenges, both in and out of the classroom. We understand that life can be overwhelming. But, at Indiana University Kokomo, we want you to know you don’t have to face your challenges alone. We’re here to walk beside you when you need a little help.
You’ll want to get to know Jamie Gallegos, IU Kokomo’s resource navigator. No matter the problem, Jamie’s role is to be there to explore it with you, help you weigh your options, and connect you with any needed resources. She can help in all kinds of areas including:
- Food scarcity
- Transportation concerns
- Housing situations
- Health insurance
- Financial questions and concerns
- Or any issues that may distract you from doing your best and achieving your academic goals
Jamie’s goal is simple: Help you solve and overcome your personal roadblocks through providing resources and guidance, and getting you back on the path to academic success. If she can, she’ll help you personally. If she feels you might benefit from talking to another office or person on campus, she can point you in the right direction and help you get the answers and resources you need.
You can find Jamie in the Kelley Student Center, Room 210, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. Make an appointment at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling her directly at 765-455-9353. You may also call the Student Life and Campus Diversity office at 765-455-9203. Walk-ins are also welcome. Please fill out the form linked below before you meet with Jamie
