Characteristics of the RN BSN Class of 2011
RN to BSN data of August 2011 Graduates
55 students started the RN-BSN program in the fall off 2010. Of that 55, three were male and 52 were female. Two identified themselves as African American, 43 as white and 3 did not specify. 48 of the original 55 graduated with a BSN in August of 2011 (three male and 45 female).
An interesting note is the age range of this class, the youngest (22 years old) were born in 1989 and the oldest student (57) was born in 1954.
Alumni Survey Results: 100% of alumni’s surveyed are working full time. 47.1% work in a community hospital, 5.9 % Long term or extended care, 5.9% Specialty hospital, 17.6% in a regional medical center, 5.9% home health care, 11.8% other. The average salary was 61,461.53 dollars. 5.9% work in OB, 17.6% in adult, 11.8 older adult, 58.8% other. 23.5% are nurse managers, 58.8% are working in patient education. 17.6% marked other.
