Scholarships in the School of Education

The School of Education at Indiana University Kokomo awards scholarships to qualified and outstanding students. Qualifications vary for each scholarship. Those with additional questions can contact their academic advisor for assistance.

IUK Foundation Scholarships

Apply for IUK Foundations Scholarships

Undergraduate Sophomores majoring in pre-education, demonstrated financial need, minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Preference to a graduate of Western High School in Kokomo, IN.

Teacher Education Program (TEP) students during the student teaching semester who are in good standing and majoring in elementary education.

Undergraduate Junior enrolled full-time in the Education program, minimum 3.5 GPA. Renewable for one additional year provided recipient continues to meet criteria.

TEP students with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.50, who are seniors and student teaching.

Resident of Howard County, undergraduate Junior or Senior student, enrolled in a minimum of 9 credit hours per semester, or a graduating senior who wished to pursue a graduate degree in their undergraduate major field at IUK, have a declared interest in the field of study relating to art, music, nursing, humanities, history or education, GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0-point scale, preference given to students with demonstrated financial need.

Undergraduate, enrolled full-time in the School of Education and in their student teaching semester, minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Preference will be given to students majoring in Elementary Education.

Undergraduate scholarships for Seniors majoring in Elementary Education at IU Kokomo who have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale and have demonstrated financial need.

Covers the cost of the student teaching fee for undergraduate or graduate TEP students.

TEP students with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00, who plan to teach at the elementary level.

TEP students during the student teaching semester, with preference given to those preparing to teach secondary-level mathematics.

SOE students with a record of academic excellence, with preference given to graduate students.

Undergraduate TEP students with financial need and a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.50.
