Note: Test scores are not required for admission as Indiana University Kokomo is test optional, but they are required for scholarship consideration. 

  • Step 3: Wait to hear from us. Applications are reviewed daily! Once the Office of Admissions has received all required information, you will be notified of a written decision.

If you are ready to apply to graduate school at IU Kokomo, please take the time to fill out the graduate online application. If you have questions or concerns during this process, you can reach out to the Office of Admissions or the program director for your desired program.

Any student with no previous college credits or less than 12 college-level credits.

High School Curriculum: Recent high school graduates are expected to earn an Indiana Academic Honors or CORE 40 diploma; Students graduating prior to 2011, from out-of-state high schools or from homeschooling must have comparable credits to those outlined below.

  • 4 years of English/Language Arts 
  • 3 years of Mathematics  (Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II)
  • 3 years of Lab Science (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics
  • 3 years of Social Studies (History, Government, Econ, Psychology, or Sociology)
  • 4 years of additional college prep courses which include additional Math, Lab Science, Social Science, Computer Science, Foreign Language, or other college-prep courses

Class Rank: Students should rank in the upper half of their class.

Entrance Exams: Indiana University Kokomo is test optional and test scores are not required for admission except for home schooled students.  We will take a holistic approach in evaluating your academic profile including your curriculum and grades.  Test scores must be considered for merit based scholarship consideration.
