Apply As a High School Student

Leaving behind the halls of your high school can be intimidating. Deciding where to go to college, figuring out what to major in, wondering how to make friends and get involved – it can be a lot to process! If you’re a current high school student and you’ve been wondering about Indiana University Kokomo as an option for your college choice, we think you’re going to like it here!

We have over 60 degrees and programs for you to choose from. Our class sizes are around 20, which means you’ll get to know your peers and your professors. In fact, you’ll be known on a first-name basis and receive personalized attention and mentorship. We also have a thriving student life where you’ll form relationships that last a lifetime.

Interested in getting out and experiencing the world? We believe each and every student that steps foot on our campus deserves the chance to explore and learn outside the classroom, too. Our Kokomo Experience and You program, or KEY, will take you out in the world where you’ll attend conferences, talk with alumni who are working in your desired field, and more. Past KEY experiences have included trips to Amsterdam, Yellowstone National Park, and Charlotte, just to name a few.

All this for around $8,000 a year which means you’ll graduate with an IU degree and minimal student loan debt. Take a look around and see for yourself.

High School Curriculum: Recent high school graduates are expected to earn an Indiana Academic Honors or CORE 40 diploma; Students graduating prior to 2011, from out-of-state high schools or from home schooling must have comparable credits to those outlined below.

If you do not meet the above criteria, you may be eligible for conditional admission. Please contact the Office of Admissions at 765-455-9217 for more information.

Apply early in your senior year to be considered for maximum academic scholarships.
