Employers Job Postings

Employer Job Postings

Indiana University Kokomo is proud to provide students with opportunities to take their learning outside of the classroom and interact with businesses and organizations in the fields they plan to enter after graduation.

The Career Services Center at IU Kokomo is ready to facilitate that connection by coordinating internships, hosting career fairs and conferences, and providing access to job postings.

Internship Postings

An internship can be beneficial and rewarding for your company and for students. Internships allow employers to temporarily hire quality, motivated, pre-professional students who can assist with special projects and give the employer the opportunity to gain new information and ideas.

Internships are also a cost-effective way to recruit and evaluate potential employees while increasing awareness of your organization.

Micro-Internships

Micro-internships can be an alternative or supplement to an internship program. These short-term, paid, professional projects allow companies to:

  • Get on-demand support for project needs as they arise
  • Improve hiring outcomes through audition-based assessments
  • Find and evaluate new talent based on skills and aptitude versus major

Learn more about micro-internships through IU Kokomo, and post projects for students and recent graduates to complete.

Micro-Internships

Career fairs, expos, and conferences

Career Services is proud to offer on-campus opportunities for companies and job-seekers to meet face-to-face.

  • The Cougar Career Fair, taking place during the fall semester, offers an opportunity to meet with current students and alumni seeking full-time/part-time employment, internships, and/or volunteer positions.
  • The Kokomo Area Spring Job Fair, held in the spring semester, is an opportunity to meet with IU Kokomo and Ivy Tech Kokomo students, alumni, and community members.
  • Other on-campus events including the LITYL Conference and Career Fair, provide businesses and organizations to interact with job-seekers.

Post your job and internship opportunities

We are always on the lookout for companies, businesses, and organizations to partner with in providing employment and internship opportunities for our students.

Handshake, our campus job board, is a great way to post those opportunities and reach our students. A career newsletter distributed through Handshake helps bring new and exciting opportunities to our students’ attention.
