Rooted In Nature

This is a juried exhibition curated by our 2026 curatorial intern student, Olivia Parsenow.

Exhibition Dates:
June 1 – July 1, 2026
Closing Reception:
July 1st from 4 to 6 p.m.

When human creativity intertwines with the natural world, something profound emerges. Rooted In Nature explores the abundant beauty of nature focusing on its textures, colors, and rhythms through an artistic lens. The show highlights the dialogue between humanity and the environment. IU Kokomo Art Gallery invites artists to submit works inspired by the natural earth or art created using organic, earth-derived materials.

Please join us in the IU Kokomo Art Gallery for the closing reception on July 1st.

The IUK Art Gallery is free and open to the public. Visitor parking is available in the Main Building Parking Lot and the Kelley Student Center Parking Lot, (lots B & D) and event parking passes are available upon request.
