The artworks are inspired by forest ecology, beauty, and environmental issues. The flora and fauna of the forests, the nutrient cycles, adaptations to climate change, and the symbiotic relationships of trees and fungi are some of the concepts Minda is interested in. “From an aesthetic or artistic perspective, these forests possess a mysterious, lonely, ghostly, and even magical presence that inspires the style of the artwork I create,” says Minda Douglas.
