When you step onto our campus even for a minute, you’ll see the shirts that read, “KEY.” You might walk by the KEYpad and see students collaborating on projects or just having fun. And you’ll hear about our KEY trips…a lot.
The Kokomo Experience and You was created to send you out into the world: to see, do, and get a feel for your future. Trips are usually free and designed for you.
Students have traveled to New York City to experience the Big Apple and see historic landmarks, visited a DEA office in Chicago to get an inside look at criminal justice careers, road tripped to Bradford Woods for a writing retreat, made art from nature, experienced team building on a ropes course, and so much more.
KEY trips are fun, super informative, and provide experience beyond the classroom!

TUITION SAVINGS FOR NONRESIDENTS
If you’re a resident of Illinois, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, or
Wisconsin, you’re eligible for the Midwest Student Exchange Program (MSEP) award, which
allows you to attend IU Kokomo at a reduced cost. Residents of participating states pay tuition
at 150 percent of the in-state rate, reducing your tuition costs from $20,670.90 to $11,345.56
per year.

CHANCELLOR’S SCHOLARSHIP
Indiana University Kokomo has distinctive merit scholarship programs to recognize high
school seniors who have an academic record that demonstrates potential for college
success. The Chancellor’s scholarship program provides four-year scholarships to
students who meet and maintain academic criteria.
Students will receive:
Scholarship amount $2,500
A laptop computer (choice of Mac or PC)
Students must meet the following criteria:
Class rank in the top 10% of graduating class
Combined SAT score (Reading + Math) of 1200 or an ACT score of 25
*The Chancellor’s Scholarship is renewable for three additional y ears when
satisfactory academic progress is achieved.

Wisconsin, you’re eligible for the Midwest Student Exchange Program (MSEP) award, which

CHANCELLOR’S SCHOLARSHIP
Indiana University Kokomo has distinctive merit scholarship programs to recognize high
school seniors who have an academic record that demonstrates potential for college
success. The Chancellor’s scholarship program provides four-year scholarships to
students who meet and maintain academic criteria.
Students will receive:
Scholarship amount $2,500
A laptop computer (choice of Mac or PC)
Students must meet the following criteria:
Class rank in the top 10% of graduating class
Combined SAT score (Reading + Math) of 1200 or an ACT score of 25
*The Chancellor’s Scholarship is renewable for three additional y ears when
satisfactory academic progress is achieved.
