Our library is home to study spaces, media viewing spaces, and classrooms, which double as computer labs. Find the right space for your independent or group work.
Reserve a study room
Indiana University Kokomo students may book study rooms on our first or second floors. These rooms are intended for independent or small group study but not for official meetings or scheduled instructional activities.
Rooms for classes or groups
The Library has two information literacy classrooms that also serve as computer labs with both instructor and student workstations. Faculty and staff may schedule these rooms for instruction or training purposes. Rooms may not be scheduled for semester-long sessions, though. Read our classroom scheduling guidelines.
The Gathering Place
The Library also has an open space just outside of the Writing Center, we call the Gathering Place. This area can be reserved by faculty, staff, students, groups or clubs. This area has served as a meeting space for many student clubs and many Table Talk discussions.
Use a carrel
Individual study carrels are located on the library's second floor. These are excellent spots for quiet study.
Media viewing area
The media viewing area is located on the first floor of the library, near KA128. This space includes equipment for viewing audiovisual materials, microfilm, and microfiche. Please direct questions about the equipment to the librarians at the Research Help desk.
