2013-2014
Informatics assessed student outcomes related to using a programming language to solve a problem (A3). A section of INFO I210 Infostructure I (Visual Basic) was analyzed and (14 of 17 or 82%) successfully implemented all requirements. This was below the 90% benchmark. Although close to the benchmark, the faculty will continue to watch the success rate of beginning programmers carefully.

For the 2008-2009 year, Informatics assessed student outcomes related to using a programming language to solve a problem (A3). One section of INFO-I210 Infostructure I (Visual Basic) was analyzed. One third of the students (3 of 9) met the benchmark of successfully implementing all requirements.
