The Office of Sustainability takes pride in Indiana University Kokomo’s designation as a Tree Campus of Higher Education through the Arbor Day Foundation.
Becoming a Tree Campus allows colleges and universities to grow community forests, providing students and staff with a beautiful campus environment, that all can be proud of.
To achieve this, we keep track of our trees and their health, plant new trees around campus, provide education on the environment and sustainable practices, and host events where the community can come together and support our environment.
