Student Sustainability Council (SSC)
Sustainability Steering Committee
The sustainability steering committee is a diverse group of faculty staff and students that support the efforts of the Office of Sustainability.
The steering committee is divided into small sub-committees, focusing on each of the office's areas of interest: research, partnership, curriculum & facilities.
The Student Sustainability Council of Indiana University Kokomo serves to promote sustainable action, foster new ideas, and invoke environmental awareness on our campus and in our community. The SSC advises the Indiana University Kokomo Office of Sustainability from the perspectives of the students, working to reduce the negative effects of the University on the natural environment and to promote environmental, social, and economic justice.
Interested in joining? Reach out to SSC President Gabbie Orlando at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.

Part of our mission in the Office of Sustainability is to make the world a better place for all. To accomplish this, we support the Cougar Cupboard and have plans to sustain the Cupboard with the harvest of the ever-growing campus garden. If you'd like to find a way to get involved, you can contact the student organization Enactus.
Our goal is big: make the world a better place to live. If this sounds like a mission you can get behind, we would love to hear from you. Together, we can make a more sustainable world for generations to come.
